A friend passed along this new catchy Cubs song. A little country... but I like country.
One quibble: The lyric about going back to 1908 has no place in a song called "Let's Go to Wrigley." As all fans should remember, Wrigley wasn't built until 1914 and the Cubs didn't call it home until 1916.
• Cubs Media Guide Trivia tid-bit: The Cubs installed a new field drainage system at Wrigley Field prior to the 2008 season. This system was designed by Roger Bozzard who has constructed fields for five of the last seven World Series winners. (Boston 2004, 2007; Arizona, 2001; St. Louis, 2006; and the White Sox, 2005.)
